Why would you want to have a FREE BinB web site?
Business in Berkshire was started in 2002 to help promote Jon’s email marketing business LiaiseOnline Limited. Ironically it was the BinB service that people picked up on rather than the fact that Jon offered email marketing! But that is the nature of business... it is not always obvious what others will see as your service! You just have to be flexible enough to go with it. BinB continues to help local businesses promote their events, to those who care to listen, via their Monday newsletter. The real power of BinB is not the newsletters we send out but the fact that Google has adopted it as one of its leading news sources for Berkshire and indeed the UK. Publishing your news stories in BinB ensures most stories get indexed within minutes of publication. This puts us on par with the national newspapers and means that you can push your PR direct to the media in seconds. Once you have added a few news stories you will have a better appreciation of its power. You can then edit your copy accordingly to attract the attention of corporate and other companies you would like to know of your existence! Over 600 BinB micro sites exist but only 10% actually add content on a regular basis. These few appreciate its power and make the most of it... the others simply have space on a website! Our SME Training module gives you training on the BinB system and therefore gets you thinking about the process which can then be applied to other systems, like LinkedIn, Face Book and other social media that use their own systems. The starting point will be a 20 minute conversation with Jon Davey to discuss how you can make the most of your free BinB web space and he web in general. You will then get a second call from our trainer to talk you through how to: • Add content to the home page • Load up details of an event • And push out your latest press release Once you have the confidence to load the content into these pages you will easily progress to other systems. Then it comes down to your strategy for each online social network and how you want to engage with other users... this is training for another day!
