Here is our vision for SME Training |
|
Quick History
In the summer of 2003 Jon Davey was invited to take part in a SEEDA funded project to help SME businesses. The focus was on some basic training modules and these were heavy promoted through Jon’s Business in Berkshire newsletters resulting in the most successful project for the LSC that year. The project was adopted by Business Link and our services dispensed with. We have worked with a few partners since who’s intent was to help it fly but their focus lied else, now, in David McCulloch we have the right mental attitude to make this space ROCK again! A resource that will grow into... The SME Training Network is dedicated to providing you with easy access to all the resources you need to develop and refresh the skills and expertise within your organisation. We will be highlighting the latest training courses, workshops and seminars for you and your employees. You will find profiles of first-class training organisations, useful articles on developing particular skills, views on methods of training that work well, feedback from satisfied course participants explaining what benefits they have gained from attending a particular course, support and much more. It’s also the place to find details of skill-developing seminars, exhibitions with a professional development theme and events that are relevant to SMEs and the training and development community. And every time we receive a news story related to developing your skills, it will automatically be included in this space. We would like to encourage you to submit your own training-related news stories or indeed any other material relevant to these pages. If you are a training and development supplier then we need to talk. Contact us to join the SME Training Network. We will help you spread the word about your organisation, give you an easy way to promote your courses to the people who need them, and will publicise any upcoming training events that may be of interest to our readers. So if you have some information you’d like to share with us and our readers, please do contact us and we will do our best to add it to the SME Training Network. |
